Terminals provides persistent Split and Canvas workspaces on both the current workspace route and Central → Terminals.

Split mode

Split mode organizes panes in a horizontal or vertical tree. You can add panes, move them beside one another, resize them, swap them, and move or reorder persisted tabs between panes.

Canvas mode

Canvas mode places resizable cards on an infinite pan-and-zoom surface. Cards can contain:
  • terminals
  • browsers with persisted tabs
  • chats
  • images
  • files
Card positions, sizes, contents, and focus state persist with the terminal workspace.

Whiteboard tools

The canvas also stores a whiteboard layer beside the cards. Use Select, Pan, Rectangle, Diamond, Ellipse, Arrow, Line, Draw, and Text / note tools. Shapes and text support fill, stroke, width, and text styling, and the canvas can use dots or a preset background. Arrange cards with one of six automatic layouts:
  • Grid
  • 2 columns
  • 3 columns
  • Rows (stacked)
  • Columns (side by side)
  • Main + side

Central Terminals

Central → Terminals has its own persistent Split and Canvas layout for cross-workspace terminal, browser, chat, and reference-file work.
