Central Settings changes account-wide or desktop-wide behavior instead of one repository. Its sidebar is ordered into Account, Connections, and Billing.

Use Back to app to return to the last non-settings route. Back and forward keybinds remain active inside Settings even though the app sidebar is not mounted there.

The Account row shows the signed-in email and plan label. Manage Subscription opens https://aiola.app/dashboard; GUI Lifetime labels the same action Manage account. Logout clears the stored session and returns to setup.

Account → Appearance controls light, dark, or system theme mode; theme presets; editable theme colors; reset; translucent sidebar and glass opacity; border radius from 0 to 24 px; pointer cursors; macOS text smoothing; workspace logos in thread lists; and the Quick Note position. It also edits the complete Workspace and Central sidebar layouts: add/rename/remove sections, reorder navigation items, hide items, and reset the layout. See Appearance and Sidebar Layout.

Connections

Providers

Connections → Providers detects supported command-line providers, reports install/authentication status and version, and provides each provider’s install or login command. An authenticated provider can be enabled or disabled. Expand it to reorder models or hide/show models in pickers; hidden models remain available on this settings page. Provider availability is global, while a workspace can choose its own default provider and model. See Providers and Usage.

Connections

Connections → Connections controls whether the desktop server accepts LAN/Tailscale connections, shows reachable endpoints, generates a phone pairing code, lists paired/connected devices, and provides Revoke access. See Connections for architecture and Connect Mobile for the procedure.

Hosted MCP

Connections → MCP shows the remote Streamable HTTP server URL, OAuth mode, compatible clients, and the 11-tool catalog. It does not configure workspace-local MCP processes. See Hosted MCP Server and Connect Aiola through MCP.

Usage and billing

Usage

Billing → Usage combines detected CLI-provider quota cards and, outside GUI Lifetime, Analytics usage. Select the circular-arrow icon button at the right of the Usage heading to recheck both sources. The button has no visible text label. Workspace route /settings/usage redirects here because usage is global rather than workspace-specific. The subscription-management action is under Account → General → Manage Subscription, not on the Usage page.

Account deletion

Account → General → Danger zone → Delete account permanently deletes the account and hosted Aiola data. The review lists analytics sites/events, bot-crawl history, app logs, usage aggregates, funnels, segments, search and Stripe integrations, API keys, feedback attachments, sourcemaps, cloud feedback, task links, automatic-task settings, billing/license data, profile data, and authentication data. Local workspace files—including project files, tasks, and automation files—are not deleted. An active subscription must first be canceled in Billing and allowed to end.
