Skills - Aiola

Skills make reusable instructions available to chats and agents. Central and workspace routes use the same implementation, but workspace-local discovery and chat startup depend on the selected workspace.

Skills for providers that are not installed are hidden. Search and provider/category filters operate on the combined catalog.

Manage skills

Open a skill to inspect its files and instructions. Create, edit, or delete user-owned skills; created skills are written to the selected provider’s native directory. Grok bundled skills and Antigravity CLI-native built-ins are read-only. Create a separate skill to customize one.

Start a chat

Use a skill’s chat action to open a draft with the skill attached. From Central Skills, select the target workspace so the chat has repository, file, and workspace-local skill context.

Deduplication

When sources expose the same skill ID, Aiola applies provider and workspace precedence and shows the winning definition.
