Plan is a block-based workspace document editor with text, headings, bullets, numbered lists, checklists, toggles, quotes, dividers, formatting, drag and drop, collapsible blocks, and a side chat.

Multiple plans

A workspace can contain multiple named plans. Use the plan selector to create a plan, switch plans, rename one, or delete one. New plans are created in the same workspace or worktree context as the currently selected plan. Plans are grouped in the selector by This workspace and by branch or worktree. This keeps a branch-specific plan attached to the code context it describes.

Import a plan

Import a Markdown or plain-text file and choose one of three modes:
  • New plan creates a separate plan from the file.
  • Append to current plan adds imported items after the current content.
  • Replace current plan replaces every item in the selected plan.
Use Plan for structured project thinking that should remain beside the workspace and its chat context.
